Best Blue Hour Photos by Joey J 📸 (January–February 2026)

Hello, fellow photography lovers! Joey J 📸 here from LASTLIGHTS.NET. I’ll try to post my “Best Blue Hour Photos” series every two months going forward. This edition features three images taken here in Singapore, including the beautifully illuminated Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. The temple lights up only on special occasions like Chinese New Year, so I made my annual trip to Chinatown to capture it.

I also traveled to Tokyo in mid-February for seven nights, but only three evenings had decent weather. None of the photos turned out as hoped 😭, so I’m leaving them out of this post (though I may share more about the trip in a dedicated post later). Traveling overseas is always a great opportunity to bring more variety to my work, but in the end, the local shots stood out more to me this time. So, it’s Singapore again. 😅

On the bright side, I’m excited to include a photo taken in Tokyo (3rd one). It was my first visit to Tokyo with a proper camera, since I hadn’t taken up photography as a hobby when I last...
